New York State Starting Fee Questions
Effective May 1, 2022 the New York State Start Fee will be $30.78 per start for pari-mutuel racing.

The LASIX fee must be paid prior to administration of the drug. If there is no payment, the horse will be scratched.
Claiming at Buffalo Raceway
Any horse claimed at Buffalo Raceway must remain 90 days even if sold after claim. All claims must be in a half hour before first post time. No cash can be used for claiming a horse.
