Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced horse racing tracks across the state will be allowed to open without fans as of June 1st. The state will issue guidance on how they can open safely reopen in the coming week.

Buffalo Raceway is still awaiting approval to conduct racing.  Once a return date is determined we will announce. We are continuing to work with the Western New York Harness Horsemen Association and the New York State Gaming Commission to resume racing with the necessary safety steps as soon as possible.
