HAMBURG, N.Y. --- The 2016 Buffalo Raceway season will come to a conclusion this weekend but there's still plenty of excitement ahead in the final three days of live racing action.
 
Friday night will feature 10 races beginning at 5 p.m. with the $10,000 Open Trot going in the first race.

Saturday night has a nine-race program featuring six different races in the Claiming Championship Series for both pacers and trotters. The top eight point earners received entry into their respective claiming level and gait and will battle for a purse which will be doubled from the normal level. First post will be 6 p.m.
 
The 2016 campaign comes to a close on Sunday afternoon with nine races starting at 12:30 p.m.
 
It will be Customer Appreciation Day with concert and Erie County Fair ticket drawings all day while the children can enjoy free cotton candy and sno cones along with other activities. The Trackside Grill will also be open serving hot dogs and hamburgers. 
 
Buffalo Raceway will also announce on Sunday their award winners including Pacer of the Year, Trotter of the Year, Driver of the Year and Trainer of the Year.
