HAMBURG, N.Y. --- After Wednesday night's scheduled 2019 harness racing opener was cancelled due to blizzard conditions and frigid temperatures, Buffalo Raceway hopes Mother Nature will be in a more cooperative mood on Saturday.
 
With much better weather conditions expected on Saturday (Feb. 2), Buffalo Raceway will offer a solid 12-race program with a starting time of 6 p.m.

The feature on the evening will be the $11,000 Class AA Open Handicap Pace. The main focus will be on Khun Ratha A and trainer/driver Larry Stalbaum who were assigned the eight post.
 
Drew Monti, last season's leading driver, will be busy as he is scheduled to drive in all 12 events while 2018 training champion James Clouser Jr. will send six from his stable to the starting gate.
 
It will be a big night for the fans heading to the track as well. The popular Lucky Exacta Contest returns for races three through nine. Patrons will get their exacta combination when they receive a free Buffalo Raceway knit winter hat. Those holding the winning exacta combinations will get a chance to spin the wheel for free Buffalo Raceway wagers.
 
Also, free magnetic schedules will be handed out to all fans.
