HAMBURG, N.Y. --- The 'move' from Dover Downs to Buffalo Raceway hasn't fazed Ellieonthemove one bit as she powerfully romped to a 4-1/4 length victory over Wonderful World in 1:55.3 over the fast track in the featured $9,000 Class A-Open Handicapped Pace on Wednesday night (March 17).

Ellieonthemove romps to victory in Wednesday's feature. |
Debuting in Western New York with a 1-1/4 length victory in 1:56.1 back on March 10, Ellieonthemove ($6.00) stepped up in class this week and handled the task with ease to make it two straight since her arrival.
Using a first over trip just past the half, Ellieonthemove (Kevin Cummings) went on even terms with the pace-setting Wonderful World (Ray Fisher Jr.) to the top of the lane. But in the stretch, Ellieonthemove was just way too strong and strutted away to the decisive win over Wonderful World while Little Joke (Billy Davis Jr.) took the show position.
Owned by Sidney Easton and trained by Anthony Cummings, it was the third victory in seven attempts this season for the 6-year-old mare Ellieonthemove (Well Said-Ireneonthemove). The win upped her 2021 bankroll to $11,760 and $105.058 lifetime.
Racing will resume on Saturday at 6 p.m. with an 11-race program scheduled. There will be a guaranteed pool of $6,000 in the Pick 5 beginning in the second race.
