Iluvtomakemoney rewards backers in a big way. |
Making a big three-wide brush going around the final turn, Iluvtomakemoney (Ray Fisher Jr.) steamrolled to the lead and was never threatened after that in going the mile in 1:55.1 over the fast track. Hold The Gold (Kevin Cummings) managed to take the place position with Brunello N (Drew Monti) third.
Co-owned by Tanah Merah Farms LLC and Swift Racing, it was the third victory in nine starts this season for Iluvtomakemoney (Well Said-Symphony In Motion). Trained by Ryan Swift, the 5-year-old has bankrolled $21,300 in 2020 and $199,931 lifetime.
A good start led to a great finish for Class Six as he collected the victory in the $10,000 Class A-AA Handicapped Pace in 1:55.0.
Starting from the dreaded eight post, Class Six ($6.30) was rushed off the gate and was able to drop right in behind the rail riding and tempo-setting Allstar Energy. After a moderate :56.4 half, driver Kevin Cummings couldn't wait any longer and blew past the laboring Allstar Energy down the backstretch and never looked back from there.
Cultural Paradise (Kyle Cummings) finished a length back with Blue On Black (Shawn McDonough) taking third.
